Before I begin my LifeVantage review, I would first like to answer the obvious question.  No, LifeVantage is not a scam.  They are a very legitimate company that offers products that are backed by years of research to provide anti-aging solutions to their customers.  However, this does not mean that they offer the best home based business choice for just anyone.  I intend to help you determine this for yourself in my LifeVantage review.

With its roots going back to 2003, LifeVantage is a health and wellness company that offers two products that focus on the effects of aging.  These products include:

1. Protandim

This product was developed after 40 years of research that was reserved exclusively for LifeVantage, and is a patented anti-aging supplement that is formulated to combat against oxidative stress and cell aging, returning you back to the stress levels of a 20 year old in only 30 days.  This product has been featured on ABC, NBC, PBS, and in the Wall Street Journal.  A 30 day supply of this product retails for $50.

2. TrueScience

This anti-aging cream battles the effects of aging from the outside in, leaving your skin looking beautiful and evenly toned.  TrueScience is designed to diminish the fine lines and wrinkles that come with growing older.  This product retails for $85 for a 30 day supply.

LifeVantage has chosen a multi-level marketing business model to distribute these products, giving every day individuals the ability to prosper as they share these products with others.

To become a LifeVantage Distributor, you will be given two options to do so.  You can purchase their starter kit for $50.  However, you will be required to purchase an additional $100 in products to qualify for commissions.  This option will not give you the ability to fully participate in all of the rewards that their compensation plan offers.  To receive the full benefits, you will need to purchase a Vantage Pack for $600.  There will be two packs to choose from, but both will be the same price.

As you achieve sales, you will earn commissions for each product that you successfully sell.  LifeVantage has 6 various commissions and bonuses that you can qualify for.  However, they will be predominantly based upon your team building abilities, and your ability to train your downline to achieve success.  These compensation options that LifeVantage provides are the following:

Fast Start Bonus
Infinite Fast Start Bonus
Fast Start Bonus Pool
Royalty Commission
Generational Matching Bonus
Elite Bonus Pool

As you begin to achieve levels of success in your LifeVantage business through your personal production, and the personal production of those in your downline, you will begin to move up through the ranks that LifeVantage employs.  As you progress up the chain, you will begin to qualify for more of the various commissions and bonuses that they offer, allowing you to benefit from the full potential that this compensation plan provides.

In my opinion, LifeVantage is a legitimate business opportunity for the right kind of individual.  For someone who has the expertise to utilize more modern methods of marketing such as the internet, this business could be very lucrative.  However, the training that you will receive as a new LifeVantage Distributor will be limited to prospecting amongst your family and friends.  If someone has the training and the skill set to really market this business, they could do quite well.
